This is a very nice 10 point taken this 2005 season by Tracy Braun. This deer has a nice wide rack and decent body size. Tracy took him with his 30-06 from a blind. Good shootin Tracy.
Here is a nice whitetail taken in the 2005 season. Fourteen scoreable points, palmated on both sides, rough score 170.
Check out this Trophy sent in by Trey Dunson and Son Wayne. Taken in the 2004/2005 season. Can you top this beauty?
Jared Hemelstrand took this nice buck in the 2004 season. He was in his stand before daylight and this big bruiser came by chasing a doe. Jared had to wait for better light to shoot and the buck responded to grunts and doe in heat scent. He came to within 18 yards and Jared downed him with his longbow! He hit the deer a little far back and waited until later in the day to track him. Once we picked up the trail, the buck only went about 100 yards before expiring! Unofficial green score was 148 2/8! Not bad for string and stick! Jared shoots a long bow with wooden arrows and 2 blade fixed broad heads.
This deer was taken in Carrizo Springs by 10 year old Chris Pirkl of Spring, Texas. This was Chris's first deer and was scored at 140 3/8 with a 15" spread by Mr. Corky Weeks of Wilson Ranch. Chris was guided by Chase Hermes who put him on this monster. It was taken with a Ruger Mini-14 and went down like a rock with the first shot. thanks to Mr. Barry Seabranch of Deer Park ,Texas a good family friend who sponsored this hunt.
This is a beautiful deer taken by Luke McSherry killed in the 2006 2007 season. Taken in Jones county Texas and scored a 155 and field dressed at a whopping 225 lbs. This deer came to a grunt call and horns. A great West Texas Deer....
