Getting aroung on Texas Hunting Leases can be tough....tough on the vehicle and tough on you. Your choices of equipment can make a big difference.
This page is dedicated to assisting you in making the correct decisions about your hunting ride, providing useful information and quality links.
How you get around and what you use to do it. There are a lot of things to consider. You can spend a lot of money or a little. You can ride in class and comfort or just "get around".
Only YOU know what is right for YOU.... So use the information on this page to fit you, with a hunting vehicle that fits your specific needs.
Some key things to consider:
-Terrain - Your hunting vehicles must be fit for the conditions they are to be used in. Some hunting land can be very rough on a vehicle. There is no need in spending good cash for your wheels just to see it ruined in no time.
- Budget - Everyone has an amount of dough they are willing to spend. Find a hunting vehicle that comfortably fits into your budget.
- Payload - What do you need it to do? Will you need to haul large items? Does the climate dictate the need for a cab? Answer these questions and you can narrow down the choices.
- Type of Game Hunted - You might not want to try carrying a 1,000 pound animal on an ATV. Or,you may not want to chase coyotes in a high profile jeep....the results could be upsetting. So, you should fit the ride to the game being hunted.

Below is a great example of a "Built-for-Speed" type hunting vehicle. It is low to the ground for close turning, has an engine that is air cooled (no radiator or water leak problems), great steering tires on the front and grippers on the back, rugged frame, and of course fully equipped for hunting.
This type of hunting vehicle is great for flat terrain hunting....such as coyote hunting. Also great for quail hunting.

As I said above...you can ride in STYLE or just..."git around". And speaking of getting around...one of these would certainly go just about anywhere.
Two points about this vehicle are that they are not easy to find, and they are not cheap.
